Legion VCE and WGR LPLOL Finals Wow the Crowds at Lisboa Games Week

  • by João "Wlfz" Cício

Lisboa Games Week, Portugal's biggest gaming event, recently made its highly anticipated return after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 regulations. Despite the pandemic's impact still being evident at the event, the gaming community was pleased to see the return of this important occasion.

This year's edition introduced new additions, including some of the expected names from the local industry. However, one of the biggest attention-grabbers was the return to a single pavilion setup. This change was most likely due to the absence of PlayStation, which typically occupies a considerable area.

Inygon had a significant presence at the event with a three-thousand-square-meter area, where we offered esports content and experiences to the fans. Throughout the four days of the event, attendees had the opportunity to watch different game titles, such as Rocket League, LoL: Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics, Street Fighter V, Legends of Runeterra, and of course, Valorant and League of Legends, including the highly anticipated Legion VCE and WGR LPLOL finals.

As expected, the event was packed, with Saturday being the busiest day and navigating the event proving to be quite troublesome. Despite the challenges, the event's return was a success, and it was clear that the gaming community was thrilled to be able to attend this significant event once again.

It is hoped that the next editions of Lisboa Games Week will quickly recover the dimensions the event had in 2019, as this is an important occasion that brings together the Portuguese gaming community and is eagerly anticipated every year.

From Lisbon To Bogotá: Teleperformance With Grand Opening of New Gaming Arena

  • by João "Wlfz" Cício

After the resounding success of the Teleperformance PXP event, celebrating the inauguration of the Teleperformance Gaming Arena in Lisbon, Inygon was once again called upon to help Teleperformance mark the grand opening of their latest gaming hub, this time in the heart of the Colombian capital. With plenty of exciting gaming options and cutting-edge technology, the new arena promises to be a must-visit destination for gamers across the region.

The gaming arena in Bogotá boasts an impressive array of gaming options, with around 30 computers, consoles such as the PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, and even a mobile gaming zone. The Colombian team went the extra mile by adding a full VR zone, featuring multiple Oculus Quest 2 headsets for players to enjoy. In addition, the arena also features an indoor football pitch, which sets it apart from other gaming spaces.

To celebrate the opening of this venue, Inygon organized a three-day event that catered to both casual and competitive gamers. The event included tournaments for popular games such as League of Legends, FIFA 22, and Brawl Stars, featuring some of the biggest names in the industry. Esteemed host Britanni Johnson led the proceedings, which included panel discussions on various topics ranging from gaming to sports and even Web 3.0.

The first two days of the event were focused on panels and discussions, while the final day was dedicated to the gaming tournaments. Attendees were able to participate in gaming events and try out the latest equipment throughout the event. Notably, local racing legend Juan Pablo Montoya showcased his skills in the Assetto Corsa.

The entire event was broadcast live on Teleperformance channels, reaching a wider audience and showcasing the energy and excitement of the gaming community in Colombia. Inygon's involvement in the management and production of the event was integral to its success and is a testament to the company's ability to deliver high-quality esports events on a global scale.

Teleperformance Unveils Dedicated Gaming Space in Lisbon and Hosts Epic Esports Event

  • by João "Wlfz" Cício

Teleperformance, a global leader in customer experience management, has made a huge splash in the gaming and esports industry in Portugal by investing €1.2 million into the country's first dedicated gaming space. The TP Gaming Arena, located at the Parque das Nações in Lisbon, boasts a range of amenities including two streaming rooms, two PC islands, mobile and console zones, and a small arena with a capacity for two teams and around 100 spectators.

Together with Teleperformance Portugal, we helped prepare a special event called Teleperformance PXP to celebrate the opening of the arena. The event was a one-day, full esports experience featuring some of the most popular game titles in different genres, such as Super Smash Bros and FIFA 21, as well as a Brawl Stars rivalry between SK Gaming and AC Milan Qlash. The event closed with a showmatch between MIBR and OG in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Participants could also attend conferences about the esports and gaming industry, as well as other Web 3.0 topics. In addition, they had the opportunity to experience virtual reality, racing simulators, PC and console gaming, and enjoy the after-party.

Teleperformance PXP attracted some of the most well-known names in the industry, including Efje "Sjokz" Deportere, who hosted the event. The TP Gaming Arena is not just a space for gaming events, but also a place to experience the latest technology and connect with the gaming community.

With the TP Gaming Arena, Teleperformance has demonstrated its commitment to the gaming and esports industry in Portugal. The investment in this dedicated gaming space will surely elevate the gaming scene in the country and attract more gamers, enthusiasts, and professionals alike. We can't wait to see what Teleperformance has in store for the future of gaming and esports in Portugal!

Introducing Our National Open Circuit For Teamfight Tactics

  • by João "Wlfz" Cício

Teamfight Tactics (TFT) has been a favorite game of ours since its initial release in 2019, and we're excited to announce the launch of our first dedicated TFT competition, the TFT Open!

While we have hosted some past TFT tournaments with record participation, we have never had a project dedicated solely to the TFT community. Although the lack of a spectator tool makes it a challenging game to work with, we believe this shouldn't deter us from catering to such a thriving community.

Therefore, we have devised a plan to run an open circuit of online TFT tournaments, with live event stops throughout the year. Players can now prove their skills every month, regardless of the set changes, and compete against other players in Portugal. The top eight players from the ranking will have the opportunity to play in the live events and compete for a share of the given prize pool.

For the online stages, the community is welcome to provide their broadcasts freely, as the players themselves can offer very engaging broadcasts with their own perspectives. However, for the live events, the community can expect high-quality broadcasts that highlight the most intense matches featuring the best TFT players.

Get your Little Legends ready and start planning your compositions, or simply tune in to the Inygon Twitch channels to follow the exciting adventures on the TFT board!
